PG Automations · The Op3ro System

For trades and field service businesses doing $1M to $20M

Your competitor is about to quote in sixty seconds.

PG Automations is the company. Op3ro is the software it builds — the AI operations system we run our own $5M Sydney landscaping group on. One login, your rates, your crews, and the admin work handled before anyone opens a laptop.

  • Enquiry answered, qualified and written to the job record automatically.
  • Quotes out the same day with margin visible before you send.
  • Job costing that closes on the day, not in the next BAS.

Want to see it actually working? We'll send you a walkthrough of the real system running our $5M landscaping business — quoting a job, rostering the week, capturing receipts on site. No slides.

Landscaping maintenance crew on site in Sydney

Built on real crews, not a case study

Every part of this system was written to fix something that was costing our own business money that week.

Where it goes wrong

Three places the money leaves the business

Not strategy. Not marketing. The three handoffs between a phone ringing and a job being paid for.

The enquiry

Eleven hours to answer the phone

A lead calls at 7.40am while the crew is loading. It goes to voicemail, gets written on a docket, and is called back the next afternoon. By then they have two other quotes.

The quote

Priced on Sunday night from memory

Measurements live in someone's head, rates live in an old spreadsheet, and the quote goes out three days late with a number nobody can defend line by line.

The margin

Found out one BAS too late

Hours land in one app, receipts in a glovebox, materials on a card statement. The job looked fine until the quarter closed and it had run 14% under.

Two ways to work with us

Buy the system, or fix the operation

The Op3ro System

Forty-three screens, one login, $150 a month hosting

Job management, rostering, quoting, invoicing, receipts, fleet, team chat and Op3ro AI in a single system, configured to your business. Replaces the nine subscriptions you are currently reconciling by hand.

  • Built and configured on your rates and services
  • Op3ro AI answers calls, creates tasks, schedules and optimises routes
  • No per-user licence creep as you hire
Operations Consulting

Keep your software. Fix how the work moves through it.

We map every handoff from enquiry to paid invoice, put a dollar figure on each delay, then automate the expensive ones with Claude skills and workflows inside the tools you already own.

  • Process map with hours and cost per step
  • Automations built on your live data, not a sandbox
  • A roadmap your team can keep running without us
What we'd fix first

The six things we change in the first six weeks

Ordered by what costs you the most, not by what demos well.

  1. 01

Missed calls answered and qualified in under 20 seconds, with the job type, address and budget already written to the contact record.

  2. 02

Quotes built from your own rate card, sent the same day, with margin shown before it leaves.

  3. 03

The week rostered against crew availability, travel time and yard stock rather than a whiteboard.

  4. 04

Receipts captured on site by photo, coded to the job, reconciled without a bookkeeper chasing paper.

  5. 05

Job profitability visible the day the job finishes, not the quarter after.

  6. 06

One login instead of nine subscriptions that do not talk to each other.

Patrick Goodyer, founder of PG AutomationsWho built it

Patrick Goodyer. Software developer. Not a tradesman.

I've never been on the tools. No trade background, no qualification, never swung a hammer for money. What I do have is six years and 300+ automation projects behind me, and a 100% job success record in the top 0.5% of Upwork's 17 million freelancers.

In July 2025 we bought a small landscaping business that ran on spreadsheets, phone calls and one person's memory. Fourteen months later it's a $5M group, and the back office never grew to match. That's not because I'm a better landscaper than you — I'm not one at all. It's because the admin runs itself.

The walkthrough is the live account, not a demo tenant: quoting a job, rostering the week, capturing receipts on site. 1,003 jobs have gone through it.

FAQ

The questions we get on the first call

Do we have to throw out the software we already pay for?

No. We map what you run first, keep what earns its keep, and replace the overlap. Most businesses we work with are paying for three tools that do the same job.

How long before it is running?

The audit is one day. A first working build is usually live in four to six weeks, starting with the part costing you the most money.

Is this a template you resell?

It is the same system that runs our landscaping group, configured to your rates, services, crews and compliance. Your data, your rules.

What if we are only eight people?

Eight people losing nine hours a week each is roughly 3,700 hours a year. That is the size of business this pays back fastest.

Warning

Before you hire an automation consultant.

Almost every consultant selling AI to trade businesses has never run one. They have never quoted a job at 9pm, never had a crew standing around waiting on a delivery, never chased a progress claim past the cut-off. They have helped clients in the industry. That is not the same thing, and it is why most of these projects quietly fail — they map a process they have only ever been told about.

We own and operate a $5M construction and landscaping group in Sydney. Every process we sell you, we run ourselves, every day.

Ask any other consultant the same question we’d expect from you: what’s your trade business, and can we come and watch it run?

Next step

One day. $2,000 plus GST. Credited against any build.

We map how work moves through your business, put a number on the waste, and build one working automation in the room on your own data. If we cannot find savings worth more than the fee, you do not pay.
